I’ve always been pretty serious about pretty much everything; a typical perfectionist “Type A” with a list for everything seemingly in my back pocket. I always plan things weeks in advance, and wasting time is one of my biggest pet peeves (ranking just below people driving too slow in the fast lane and people chewing food with their mouth open, ugh). I tend to get stressed and anxious more than most people, and staying on top of things to make sure things are completed is probably #1 on my “Get Shit Done” list. Basically, in my normal every day life, relaxing is not something I am good at.
Adventure is quite the opposite of who I am, although I am know to take risks and do things that you wouldn’t call ordinary. Adventure is described as, “an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity,” and/or to, “engage in hazardous and exciting activity, especially the exploration of unknown territory.”
So here we are, me, my boyfriend, and our overly energetic dog, setting out on adventures and exploring this thing we are all experiencing together…life. Leaving my Type-A personality at home and taking the backseat to adventure.
